Certain dates become part of history forever.
The UltraBreaks 9/11 Tribute Collection was built around one of them: 2001. Across just 2,001 total packs, the core collection features PCGS-certified 2001 American Silver Eagles, including an exclusive group of 1,001 specially signed examples created specifically for this release.
But hidden throughout the collection are just 28 original World Trade Center recovery coins, preserved in their specialty PCGS holders with documented provenance connecting them to Ground Zero. That group includes 20 World Trade Center Silver Eagles and only 8 premium precious-metal recovery coins, including six 1 oz American Gold Eagles.
This is a collection centered on remembrance, preservation, and pieces of numismatic history whose connection to September 11 cannot be recreated.
Some Dates Are More Than Dates.
September 11, 2001.
For Americans, those numbers need little explanation.
They mark a morning that changed our country forever. A day remembered for unimaginable loss, extraordinary courage, and the firefighters, police officers, first responders, service members, families, and ordinary Americans whose actions came to define what followed.
Twenty-five years later, UltraBreaks has assembled a collection built around remembrance.
Not simply with imagery or words, but with pieces of American numismatic history carrying a direct connection to 2001, the New York Fire Department, and, in an extraordinarily small number of packs, the World Trade Center itself.
This is the UltraBreaks 9/11 Tribute Collection. And there are exactly 2,001 packs.
2,001 Packs. One Day, One Year, a Moment We Will Never Forget.
At the center of the collection is one of America's most recognizable modern coins: the American Silver Eagle.
First issued in 1986, its obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty, an image that has represented American liberty for generations. For this release, every Silver Eagle in the core collection carries one particularly significant date: 2001.
A total of 1,973 PCGS-certified 2001 American Silver Eagles form the core of the collection.
Every pack contains one PCGS-certified coin. But within those 1,973 Silver Eagles is a group created specifically for this tribute.
1,001 Signed 2001 Silver Eagles
More than half of the core collection belongs to an exclusive signed edition connecting the 2001 Silver Eagle directly to New York's fire service.
1,001 2001 American Silver Eagles have been certified PCGS MS69 and paired with a specialty label signed by Richard Picciotto, the leading head of the New York Fire Department at the time.
Each carries the designation: "1 of 1001"
There will never be another population of this specific signed label within the collection.
The number was intentional. The date was intentional. The connection was intentional.
Together, these 1,001 coins form the centerpiece of a collection created to remember the people whose courage became inseparable from the story of September 11.

But 28 packs contain something different. Something that cannot simply be recreated for another release.
28 Pieces With a Direct Connection to Ground Zero
Among all 2,001 packs, only 28 contain coins recovered from the World Trade Center site and preserved with their original specialty PCGS World Trade Center labels.
These pieces occupy an entirely different place within the collection. Their importance is not simply their grade. It is not simply their precious-metal content. And it is not simply their rarity. It is their provenance.
These coins survived one of the defining events in modern American history. They were recovered from the World Trade Center site, authenticated and preserved in specialty PCGS holders documenting that connection.
Their history cannot be manufactured again. Their provenance cannot be reproduced. Only 28 have been placed into this 2,001-pack collection.
World Trade Center Recovery Silver Eagles
20 total coins
Twenty Silver Eagles recovered from the World Trade Center site are included throughout the release. Dates vary.
Each remains preserved with its original specialty World Trade Center PCGS label, maintaining the provenance that makes these coins historically significant.
- • Original World Trade Center Silver Eagle: 20
That means approximately 1 in every 100 packs contains one.
World Trade Center Gold
Then there are just 8.Â
Eight World Trade Center recovery coins struck in precious metal beyond silver are distributed across the entire 2,001-pack run. Among them are:
- • 6 × 1 oz Gold Eagles with World Trade Center labelsÂ
- • 1 × 2001 1/2 oz Gold Eagle PCGS MS69 with World Trade Center label
- • 1 × Platinum Maple Leaf with World Trade Center labelÂ
Â
These are not modern recreations or tribute issues. They are original coins whose documented history connects them directly to the World Trade Center recovery. Only eight such pieces appear in the entire collection.

More Than Metal
Numismatics has always been a way of preserving history.
Â
A coin can survive generations. It can carry the date of a coronation, a war, an anniversary, a discovery, or a moment when the course of history changed.
Â
Sometimes, the date stamped into the metal becomes more important than anyone could have imagined when the coin was struck.
Â
2001 is one of those dates.
That is what this collection was built to preserve. The 2001 Silver Eagles remember the year. The 1,001 signed editions honor the connection to the New York Fire Department and those who answered the call.
Â
And the 28 World Trade Center recovery coins preserve something rarer still: a physical piece of numismatic history with documented provenance connecting it to Ground Zero.
Â
This collection is not about recreating September 11. It is about remembering it. Remembering the lives lost. Remembering the courage shown. Remembering the people who ran toward danger when others were trying desperately to escape it. And preserving that memory through objects capable of carrying their story long after all of us are gone.
2,001 Packs. 2001 Silver Eagles. 1,001 Signed Editions. 28 World Trade Center Recovery Coins.

One date America will never forget.
